Decorator/Basecoater Pin Oven

■Oven Construction

Similar to our Internal Bake Oven (IBO), the PAC International Pin Oven system delivers superior oven technology. Our oven walls, floor and roof are comprised of low conductivity "tongue and groove" insulated panel assemblies constructed with steel and packed with high density mineral wool insulation, drastically reducing heat loss and energy waste.

Oven Access Doors

Manually operated, outer access doors are positioned and sized to allow clear access to the oven workspace. These access doors are fully insulated and sealed to minimize heat loss.
Additional access doors are located in the roof of the oven to provide access to the upper sprockets, nozzles and pin chain. Can chutes are also fitted for the easy removal of any fallen cans.

Recirculation System

The oven internal ductwork is constructed of aluminized steel, suitably reinforced and designed with expansion relief to prevent buckling and distortion in the air delivery supply wall. The PAC International air delivery system incorporates a high velocity, "tunnel type" air distribution system, producing superior air distribution and temperature uniformity on the can body.
In addition, each zone will be equipped with two (2) plug type re-circulation fans.

Chain Path & Chain Returns

The PAC International Pin Oven design employs vertical chain paths through the oven. The return chain path will be "top return" and will utilize adjustable chain guides with rigid structural supports. In order to maintain pin chain stability and prevent "dropping", an idler station assembly will be provided.

Air Can Guides

PAC International implements the use of Air can guides between the decorator and the oven entrance and between the exit of the oven and the pin stripper to maintain can stability and prevent "dropping".
